Books I wrote
about the processes and protocols I developed to engineer my way out of a life of poverty and generational trauma.
If you read the “about my work” section, you know that a lifelong friend and brilliant artist Rosy Petri once called what I do “conjure.” My flavor of conjure comes from a mixture of practices my Abuela taught me using common household items like water, oil, fire, bread, paper, and ink combined with prayer and intention, and the mental-focus-based practices and work ethic my Momma taught me. Cue the invaluable academic resource PubMed, and my books were born.
To be candid, PubMed wasn’t necessary. My life was already going in the direction I’d engineered when I enrolled in a small liberal arts college 1200 miles away from home since I’d decided when I was five years old that I’d get a scholarship to art school. PubMed was helpful and invigorating and allowed me to include citations for the skeptical and otherwise uninitiated.
My methods are effective.
Results have so often aligned—down to the letter—with things decided, meditated and prayed on, visualized, and acted towards, that you’d be a fool not to try them. Especially since many of the methods I used are based on ancient, generational practices that have been effective for thousands of years, (that contemporary Western medical science is only now catching up to.)
It’s hard to forget the sight of my furniture floating in brown water inside the white walls of my house as a child. Seeing my mother row to work in a neighbor’s canoe since it was only flooded on our side of town and she still had to get to work.
Know this:
You will create more of what you think about and focus on, whether what you think about and focus on is what you intend to create or not.
You will create more of what you think about and focus on, whether what you think about and focus on is what you desire for your life and ability to contribute to society or not.
You will create more of what you think about and focus on, whether what you think about and focus on is the worst-case-scenario you’re constantly afraid might happen.
